Each year in April, the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in Washington, D.C. brings together credit unions from across the country with the shared vision of fundraising and helping children. The proceeds from this event support the 170 Children’s Hospitals that belong to the Children’s Miracle Network.
On April 6, 2014, NASA FCU will once again support this important cause. In 2013, approximately 70 NASA FCU volunteers and 89 NASA FCU runners participated in the 10-Mile Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run. Each year, the event brings together credit unions from across the country in support of the Children’s Miracle Network. The 2013 Washington, D.C.-based event raised another $500,000, bringing the total amount raised to $6.5 million since credit unions became the title sponsors in 2002.
So if getting in shape is on your list resolutions, be sure to join us in April for the Cherry Blossom Run. Can’t run? Support the cause through a donation. Register or donate today.
