Over $600,000 Raised for Charity
Children’s Miracle Network
On April 1, approximately 80 NASA FCU volunteers participated in the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten-Mile Run in Washington, D.C. This years event raised $515,000, bringing the total funds donated to the Children’s Miracle Network to over $6 million. Seventeen million children are served by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals every year, with 100% of the funds donated going directly to local hospitals.
Children’s Hospital Boston
On April 16, the Boston Marathon featured nine runners from the Credit Union Kids at Heart program, including NASA FCU’s very own Tim Burch, VP of Technology Services, and Chris Stone, NASA FCU volunteer. The group successfully raised over $100,000 in support of Children’s Hospital Boston’s efforts to advance patient care and provide hope to thousands of children and their families.
